MICRONEEDLING
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, Microneedling is effective at improving the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Additionally, it has been shown to treat other skin conditions like acne scars and stretch marks. Microneedling works by pricking the skin with small needles. As a result, the skin becomes "damaged," which triggers the body's natural response to produce new, collagen-rich tissue. Microneedling is minimally invasive and proven to be safe and effective for most healthy people. However, Microneedling should be avoided by those taking certain medications and by women who are pregnant.
